Units, Alignment, and Position Options
You can change the units of your canvas and design, select alignment options, and enter positional values for your design when you're in Design Mode.
Units
Swap between Imperial and Metric on the fly.
Smart Alignment
Toggle on Smart Alignment to see guidelines as you move objects around your canvas. These guidelines can help you align an object to another object's edges or center.
Position 🔒
[Available only to Studio subscribers] Position lets you align elements relative to your canvas grid and relative to other objects.
Show Grid
Makes the grid visible and allows you to set its increments.
Snap to Grid
Anchors your object to grid increments.
Show Position Labels
Displays the anchor of the object's position in the grid.
Add Origin Anchor
This creates a Custom Anchor at the (0,0) origin point of the grid. This point then can be registered to that point while placing on Origin. More information on Custom Anchors can be found here.
Recenter and Zoom
Using the button, you can recenter and zoom the view onto the current selection. If nothing is selected it will center on the entire design. This command is available in all Modes as well as ShapeShifter.
