How long does a Studio License last?

Is it free to create a Shaper Account?

Do I have to be an Origin owner to use Studio?

No. All you need is a Shaper Account, which you can create for free here.

Can I sell my designs?

Yes! Anything you create as a Studio subscriber is solely your property.

Can I use Studio with my other digital fabrication tools?

Yes! Studio is designed to be easy to use for all sorts of digital fabrication tools. You can use the .SVG output with vinyl cutters, laser cutters, desktop CNC machines, and more.

Can I design on Studio using my phone?

Yes! Studio is designed for use with both laptops and touch devices like phones and tablets.

Can I export my designs?

Yes! Your designs save directly to your Shaper Account. If you have a Studio License, your files will sync to your tool automatically. If you don't have a License, you can export up to three times per month.

Can I use the fonts in Studio in my own products?

All the fonts currently available in Studio are licensed under the SIL open font license. Personal and commercial use is subject to the terms under the license here.
