With a cutting diameter of 5mm this O-flute cutter is well balanced for efficient cutouts. The long shank and the single flute increases the stability while the comparably small diameter decreases cutting pressure. This combination allows you to do incredibly deep cuts in one go and therefore save time cutting your project.
Due to the Geometry of the flute, this cutter is perfect to make fast cutouts in a wide variety of different plate materials up to 30 mm thickness.
Details:
- Cleaning the cutter regularly will increase the service life.
- If you choose a large depth, the cutter may not be able to completely remove all the chips out of the groove. In this case make sure to always keep moving during the cut to avoid heat build up, e.g. use Auto-mode.
- Materials marked with × indicates materials that will be cut more efficiently with other cutters.
