      Convert text to Origin cuttable paths

      Text written with the text tool

      is not visible on Origin, as it is not a path. If you are not sure, whether your text is already a path, you can select it with the path tool [N] as shown below. If it looks like this, it is still text.

      For converting text to Origin cuttable paths, first select the text(s) you want to convert with the select tool [S]. Then go to Menu => Path => “Object to path”.

      Now if you select the Text with the path tool [N], you can see the nodes. Now this text will be shown on Origin's display and is cuttable.

      Tip: If you only want to store information to be shown on Origin, you can color it blue.
