[Trace FAQs](https://support.shapertools.com/trace?hsLang=en#trace-faqs) # Allowing Access to the Device Camera It should be possible to allow persistent access to your device's camera in either iOS or Android. #### iOS/Safari If you click on **Page Settings** (the ![IMG\_1366.png](https://support.shapertools.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Knowledge%20Base%20Import/19462988085019-1.png?width=20&height=20&name=19462988085019-1.png) icon in the top left area of your screen next to the website URL) you should have access to your some more settings for this webpage: ![IMG\_3925](https://support.shapertools.com/hs-fs/hubfs/IMG_3925.png?width=307&height=533&name=IMG_3925.png) Under Page Settings, you can find Website Settings and turn your Camera setting to "**Allow**": ![IMG\_3926](https://support.shapertools.com/hs-fs/hubfs/IMG_3926.png?width=300&height=523&name=IMG_3926.png) #### Android/Chrome To make sure Trace has permissions in Chrome, select the **Site** **Settings ![settings-button-text.png](https://support.shapertools.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Knowledge%20Base%20Import/20761213102875-1.png?width=25&height=25&name=20761213102875-1.png) \> Site Settings \> Camera** and then **Permissions**.
