Preview Cuts

Click Origin’s green handle button to enter Preview Mode. Here, you will see all of the paths which BenchPilot will cut, along with a summary of the cut settings in the left side menu.

Note that if your Workspace contains multiple paths with different Encoded Depths and/or Cut Types, the Cut Depth and/or Cut Types settings will display “Mixed”, meaning that there are multiple values. 

Click Start Cut when you are ready to begin cutting and remove your hands from Origin.

If you do not want BenchPilot to cut all of the paths in your Workspace, tap Edit Selection to add or remove paths from the cut selection. Learn more about editing your cut selection here. 

If you see cut paths displayed in RED, this means that your current cut parameters prevent these paths from being cut. Your Bit Diameter may be too large to fit the path, or you may have an Offset or Roughing Pass applied which prevents the path from being cut.

Try adjusting your Cut Type, Bit Diameter, Cut Depth, and/or Offset to fix the issue.
