Origin isn’t sitting flat when clipped into BenchPilot

If you notice a gap between your Origin’s skidpad and Shelf when you’re clipped into BenchPilot, first check the following:

  1. Your Origin’s Harness is correctly installed (see steps 12.2 - 12.4 here). It can also be helpful to clip the Harness into BenchPilot, and apply downwards pressure on Origin while tightening the Left and Right Shoulder Brackets to bias Origin downwards
  2. Your Y-Bars are installed correctly (see steps 1-3 here)
  3. Your Shelf is level and tight

If you’ve confirmed these and you still see a gap at either the front or rear of the skid pad, your Workstation may not be level with BenchPilot. This can result in an observable gap for some Origins, and can be easily fixed by shimming Workstation.
