Creating a Shortcut to Trace

It's possible to create a quick shortcut to Trace on either iOS or Android. Use the following steps to create this shortcut:

iOS

Note: it's only possible to create a shortcut using Safari. Other browsers are not allowed to create shortcuts in iOS.

• Open Safari and go to the Trace webapp (trace.shapertools.com).

• Tap Share

• Tap Add to Home Screen
  

• Name the shortcut Trace or Shaper Trace. Confirm that the URL being saved is trace.shapertools.com.
• Tap Add. This will add an icon to your home screen. When you tap the newly created icon, it will open Trace in a new Safari tab.

Android

• Open Chrome and go to the Trace webapp.
• Tap the menu icon in the upper right corner
• Select Install App from the menu:

• Confirm that the URL being saved is trace.shapertools.com and the name of the app is Shaper Trace.

Note that despite the language this is not installing Trace as an app. You will still need an internet connection to access Trace.
