Advanced Cut Settings

A blue pill button will be displayed in the top left corner of the screen

This pill button will display a number followed by the word “Pass” or “Passes” (e.g. “2 Passes:”). This refers to the number of cut passes that will be performed in order to reach the currently set cut depth.

If you tap the blue pill button it will open BenchPilot’s Advanced Cut Settings. The settings will open to reveal a summary of the passes. This summarizes the depth and offset of each pass needed to reach the desired final cut depth:

+/- buttons are shown at the bottom of the pass summary. You can use the +/- buttons to quickly add or subtract passes from your pass summary without needing to manually modify the pass depth parameter. Pressing the +/- buttons will automatically adjust the pass depth parameter as needed to give you your desired number of equidistant passes. It will maintain the final Cut Depth.

Click the Settings button in the top right corner of the pass summary to open the Advanced Cut Settings where you can modify the Pass Depth setting and Roughing Passes setting.
