Creating a New Project
You can create a new project in one of two ways.
Wherever you are on Shaper Tools, you will see the 'Blue Pill' in the top right corner of your screen, next to your Profile button. You can click on this blue button and then select 'Create a New Project,' and you will be guided through the process of creating a project.
You can also create a new project when you are in ShaperHub. Select My Projects and then Create a new project
Once you have named your new project, you will be given the option to upload design files from your tool or from your computer. You can also skip this step and add files to your project later on.
Now you can fill out all the details of your project. Keep in mind that if you intend to make your project public, some of these entry fields are necessary, in order to make it easier for other users to search for and find your project.
Public vs. Private Projects
If you are ready to make your project visible to other users, you can select 'Public Projects' when you are saving your project. If you would like to keep the project private, you can select 'Private Project.' Public projects are visible to all other users of ShaperHub.
If you would like to share your project with another user, but do not want the project to be available to the community at large, you can click on 'Get Sharing Link' and send the link to another user. They will have access to all the information that you have most recently saved to your project.
You can change the public or private designation of your project at any time by clicking on the 'Edit Project' button in the top right-hand corner of your project page.
