The serrated edge reduces cut pressure and increases the service live, making this bit an excellent choice for deep and fast rough passes. Due to the profile of the cutting edge, you‘ll also get a serrated edge on your cut. A minimum of 0.6mm offset is required to avoid these witness marks.  - Allows for even greater feed rates than the [8mm x 35mm Flat Router Bit](https://www.shapertools.com/store/product/8-mm-x-35-mm-up-spiral-flat-router-bit) - In combination with other bits, it does the  "dirty work" and therefore significantly increases the lifespan of your other bits - Cleaning from time to time will considerably increase the service life of this bit - The geometry includes a serrated edge which can be advantageous for some gluing applications - Using the correct spindle speed is key with this router bit. If it’s run too fast, the bit will have a shorter service life.
