No import duties are levied on our products and you'll see all required taxes in your cart prior to checkout. In the **United States**, customers must pay all applicable state and county sales and consumption taxes. You'll see all required taxes in your cart prior to checkout. ### EU When you place **orders to EU countries**, you as the customer will be charged the applicable **taxes of the destination country**, unless you have a valid VAT identification number (VAT-ID). If you have a valid VAT identification number, no VAT will be charged on your order as long as you provide it with your order. ### EU Third party countries If you place an order in a country **outside the European Union**, **taxes, customs duties, import and handling fees** may and most likely will be incurred when the package is delivered. These fees are based on local regulations and laws and cannot be influenced by Shaper. **United Kingdom/Switzerland** Orders from the United Kingdom and Switzerland are shipped Delivered Duty Paid (DDP). This means that Shaper Tools will cover any customs duties and fees, and local VAT will already be included in the purchase price. **Norway** Orders from Norway are shipped Delivered at Place (DAP). This means that customs duties and any processing fees will be charged to the customer by the logistics company. The local VAT will also be calculated and invoiced by the logistics company. ### Information on the composition of potential customs duties and fees: - The calculation is based on the actual net price, not the potentially discounted invoice value. - The amounts are subject to potential exchange rate fluctuations - Fees are usually due upon delivery; either charged directly upon delivery or subsequently by customs **Example calculation** of taxes, customs duties and fees with current estimated values.
