Anchor Selection

When placing an object or importing a design, you have the ability to select from one of nine anchor points.

Before placing your object or design, tap the Anchor button to select your anchor option

After creating a Grid in your workspace, you can snap your selected anchor point to a given grid coordinate. This allows you to place your design exactly where you need it on your workpiece.

If you required more placement control than is offered by Origin's standard nine point anchor system, you can create your own custom anchors. Learn more about Custom Anchors here.
